Jill Scott was FIRE at MGM National Harbor Saturday nigh! I love, love, love her. Her music speaks to and stirs my mind, body, spirit and soul! Second time seeing her. I splurged to go see her this second time and I would do it again in a heartbeat! What more can I say...
The lighting was fantastic, each song had its own light show and it was top notch. The band and backup was perfect, neat, clean and excellent musicians. You got the hip hop the soul and I even thought I heard some early Prince influences. Finally the Queen; she sang to us and talked to us and danced with us and if you were sitting on the floor close enough she looked you in the eye. Damn Diva Queen can have all my money.
